Colonel Michael D. Ingersoll
Colonel Ingersoll is the Secretary General of the System of Cooperation between the American Air Forces, (SICOFAA). The system is comprised of 25 air forces American nations, has the mission of fostering the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and training to help build the capabilities of its member air forces. The colonel Ingersoll provides the institutional continuity of the organization and is the focal point for daily interaction among its members. He is responsible for getting the Commanders of the member air forces give their political-military guidance to the system, and for the functional and administrative support that the Air Force of the United States of America gives to this organization.
Colonel Ingersoll graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with military distinction in 1994. He served as an aircraft maintenance officer both in the United States and abroad, did an Air Force internship at the Pentagon, and held leadership positions at Air Force Headquarters, and within the Embassy Military Group. from United States In colombia. He served as Commander of the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and as Deputy Commander of the deployed Expeditionary Maintenance Group. He is a fully trained United States Southern Command International Relations Officer (USSOUTHCOM); He is fluent in Spanish and understands Portuguese, Italian and German.
